CMMI for Acquisition v1.2 (CMMI-ACQ) is one of the models of the CMMI family published by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of the Carnegie Mellon University. The CMMI for Acquisition supports organisations that acquire software, systems or hardware from suppliers. CMMI-ACQ v1.2 was published in November 2007.
