Management commitment and management involvement are an important success factor in the implementation of process improvements. This training introduces you as a manager to the subject of process improvement based on the CMMI model and describes briefly and succintly the costs, the benefits and the duration of the introduction of CMMI into the organization.
This training provides a compact overview of CMMI and its implementation in the organization.

You will learn:

  • What a company and its projects look like when CMMI is implemented
  • The benefits of software process improvement measures according to CMMI, illustrated through example cases
  • The approach for introducing CMMI into the company and the associated costs and duration
  • The success factors for the introduction of CMMI

In particular, the responsibilities which CMMI requires management to take at CMMI Maturity Levels 2 and 3 will be explained.

After this training you will have:

  • Become familiar with the structure of CMMI
  • Received an overview of the requirements of CMMI, in particular, those of Maturity Level 2
  • Understanding of the responsibilities of management required at CMMI Maturity Levels 2 and 3
  • Recognized the benefits of software process improvement initiatives based on CMMI
  • An understanding of the approach for the introduction of CMMI into the organization
  • The knowledge how an assessment is performed
  • An understanding of the success factors, costs and duration for introducing CMMI into the organization
  • An awareness of the components of the CMMI model and the possible application in your organization
