SEI CMMI for Acquisition Supplement for Introduction to CMMI Version 1.2

This 1-day training is for everyone who wants to know about CMMI for Acquisition (CMMI-ACQ). This training gives you a quick start to CMMI for Acquisition. The course shows the differences between CMMI for Acquisition and the classic CMMI for Development. This is the official SEI training after which you receive a SEI certificate. It is a prerequisite for anyone who intends to appraise or teach CMMI for Acquisition.

CMMI for Acquisition (CMMI-ACQ) supports organisations that acquire software, systems or hardware from third-party vendors; CMMI-ACQ v.1.2 was published in November 2007 by the SEI.
Participants will learn the process areas that are specific to CMMI for Acquisition (CMMI-ACQ) and how CMMI-ACQ differentiates from the other CMMI models.
The training consists of presentations and extensive exercises, and there is enough time for discussions and questions.
Every participant receives an SEI certificate at the end of the training.
