SEI CMMI Version 1.2 Upgrade Training
This 1 day training course is aimed at anyone who has used CMMI Version 1.1 and who would like to get to know the changes in the new CMMI Version 1.2. This is the official "CMMI Version 1.2 Upgrade Training" from the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). The participants receive a certificate from the SEI.

This is the official CMMI Version 1.2 Upgrade Training as authorized by the SEI and with a certificate. This course presents the new contents and structures of CMMI Version 1.2.
The individual topics covered:
- Changes in the CMMI structure
- Changes in the generic practices
- Changes in the process areas
- Integration of hardware engineering
- Transition from CMMI v1.1 to v1.2
- Changes in the appraisal approach from SCAMPI v1.1 to 1.2
Proportion of 70% theory to 30% practice.
Prerequisites
You have already successfully attended a CMMI introductory training course (e.g. "Introduction to CMMI").
Results
After this training you will have a detailed understanding of the new structure and the new practices of CMMI Version 1.2. Those participants who already have a CMMI v1.1 certificate receive an official CMMI Version 1.2 certificate of completion from the Software Engineering Institute of the Carnegie Mellon University.
