The Portfolio Owner is responsible for the product portfolio and its financial success. 

Skills

A Portfolio Owner is as senior manager responsible for the commercial success of the product portfolio. He formulates and prioritizes the strategic themes of the organization (i.e. Portfolio Backlog) and supports the  Organizational Product Owner in detailing tactical goals or requirements (Epics and features). The Portfolio Owner is one person, not a committee. He or she is often a board member or a member of top management. He or she has the power to make final decisions about the Portfolio Backlog Portfolio Backlog, its features and the order of implementation of the strategic issues.
