3rd Meetup: Agility in the development and production of physical products

On Tuesday, 18.11.2025, it's time again: our Meetup Agility in the development and production of physical products, which we have already held twice with numerous participants, will take place for the 3rd time this year. It starts at 1 pm - we end with a joint dinner at 6 pm.

Interactive with valuable impulses

As always, it will be interactive and you can get involved with your questions and challenges. In open space and plenary sessions, we will discuss questions such as:

  • What does agility look like in the development of physical products?
  • How can cross-functional teams be created when there are only a few specialists?
  • How does an agile product development process (PEP) work?

and many more.

Agility in the balancing act - How Olympus masters the balancing act between regulation, global collaboration & innovation

Hardware meets agility - in a highly regulated environment. Can agility be successfully practiced despite strict regulations, long hardware development cycles and complex structures? Olympus has been facing up to this challenging area of tension for several years and shows how flexibility and innovation are possible even under demanding conditions. Collaboration in a global organization, in which different cultures and working methods from the USA, Europe and Japan come together, is particularly challenging and at the same time full of opportunities. Although this diversity makes a "one size fits all" approach impossible, it also opens up new perspectives and innovative solutions.

Michael Kitzelmann, Global Agile Coach at Olympus, will take you on an inspiring journey through the agile transformation of Olympus in his keynote speech.  He will show you which strategies have proven successful, which challenges the team continues to face and why corporate culture plays a key role in this. Look forward to exciting insights and practical impulses for the balancing act between regulation, global collaboration and innovation!
