The appeal of an agile organization

Agile values

At the moment, "agile" is the hip topic par excellence and everyone who wants to be "in" or who thinks highly of themselves describes themselves as "agile". Every company already uses agile methods, at least to some extent, boasts that it has understood agile and everyone agrees that "agile isn't that difficult" or "it's not rocket science". And yet there are differences between actually practicing agility and paying lip service to it, which has nothing to do with reality.

The agile values Focus, courage, openness, respect and self-commitment sound so simple, but implementing them in established traditional companies is a major challenge that many companies are not even aware of. Because living these values also means having a different image of people: The image of a person whom I trust, whom I also trust to do things and with whom I want to grow together.

wibas lives the values and principles of agility: there is transparency about knowledge, about customers, about content, while at the same time there is a secure trust that this transparency will not be misused by anyone in the company, used against you or measured against you.

Communication always takes place at eye level: There are no hierarchies, no "epaulettes" and no "but some pigs are more equal than other pigs", everyone is equal and everyone is valued and treated equally. The way we work together is characterized by mutual respect.

As a result, the team is also the focus and takes responsibility for tasks. There is no "top-down" ordering or distribution, but rather "pulling" by the employees, working together and thinking things through.

wibas and, above all, the Wibasians prove their courage time and again: the courage to face new challenges, the courage to question oneself critically and to accept unpleasant answers and the courage to create something new together.

At the same time, a focus is set for everything and together we focus on and prioritize the things that are strategically important.

Sounds easy? It can be, and the best part is: The work is also fun! 🙂
