The SAFe Summit is an inspiring place for leaders and practitioners of Lean-Agile organizational transformations. This year's European SAFe Summit took place in The Hague (Netherlands) in the week of May 7-10, 2019. With "only" 400 participants in Frankfurt in 2018, the number of participants in The Hague doubled to 800.
Our clients Bosch and ETAS gave a joint keynote speech on their SAFe journey since 2016. wibas has accompanied more than 10 of the 17 Agile Release Trains (ARTs) introduced at Bosch and ETAS. wibas received public recognition during their keynote!
David Croome (SPC) and Simon Porro (SPCT candidate) represented wibas at the conference. Simon gave an inspiring lightning talk on "Lightweight Lean Portfolio Management". This is a method for gradually transforming traditional portfolio management into lean thinking and lean portfolio management.
Simon also manned an SPCT coaching station, where participants received expert answers to their questions about SAFe and agile transformations.
There were around 25 providers of tools, training and coaching in the partner exhibition hall. Both our business partners KEGON and Gladwell Academy were represented with a stand, which led to intensive contact with many participants for all of us.
Your next chance to soak up the latest ideas and network on Agile Scaling is the Global SAFe Summit from September 29 to October 4 in San Diego, where 2,000 users are expected. See you there!
