As helpful as frameworks are, they have their limitations. For example, they cannot tell managers how the abstract picture they provide fits the individual needs and framework conditions of their own organization.
Jürgen Henn is Head of Strategic IT at the Schaeffler Group faces the challenge of introducing a new ERP system for the entire group. This challenge confronts him as a manager with questions that go beyond blueprints:
- How do you reconcile project and line organization?
- How to deal with the Complexity resulting from the integration of all areas of the company? and
