How nice - if you're here and reading this, you're obviously interested in us as an employer! So what can you expect from our application process?
First of all: there are many ways to reach us, because people's contact and information needs are different. We are open - if you are still unsure whether an application makes sense, give us a call, speak to someone, write to us - we will find out together.
How the application begins
If you have decided to send us an application (please send it to bewerbung@wibas.com - this is then GDPR-compliant for everyone), someone from the recruiting team (here you can see who that might be: https://www.wibas.com/de/recruiting-stellt-sich-vor) get in touch with you as soon as possible. As we are looking for personalities and it should be human, usually by telephone. We may also ask you by e-mail when the best time is.
In this first phone call (or it's only the first one if you haven't called us before...) we'll find out together whether we could be a good match and answer your initial questions. This phone call is not intended to replace a personal meeting, but to prepare the ground. It's possible that we'll find out during the phone call that important fundamental things don't fit after all. But sometimes it also makes you want more...

The first interview in the application process
If the latter has happened, there is usually a personal meeting - an initial interview - at our offices in Darmstadt. However, this interview may also take place via video conference. wibas always involves two people: Sybille as our HR manager or another person from the recruiting team on the one hand, and a consultant colleague on the other. The latter is already important to us in this step, not only to find out more precisely what consulting skills you bring to the table, but also to be able to answer questions from consulting life in a realistic way. After the interview, which usually lasts around 90 minutes, the wibasians put their heads together and synchronize their impressions of the interview. As a result, you will usually receive feedback by telephone the next working day. Even if we don't want to continue the application process, we'll let you know why; if we want to continue, we'll also tell you what we particularly appreciated and where we may still have question marks. Regardless of the outcome of the interview, this transparency is important to us.

The second interview in the application process
If we want to go further, we will of course first ask you whether you would like to - if not, we are always grateful for feedback! If we are in agreement, we will have a "second meeting". However, this is not just a conversation, but we want to "experience" you as a consultant. This means that we role-play with you, in which you play the consultant and we play the customer. We are less interested in finding the "right" solution and more interested in how you act in the consulting context. As there will be additional or completely new wibasians in the second meeting, there will be another shorter meeting so that we can create a framework for getting to know you. In addition, this is of course another opportunity for you to receive or try out information and to get to know new colleagues.
What happens next in the application process?
After the second interview day, which lasts around 3-4 hours, we have gathered the information and impressions we need to make a hiring decision for ourselves. Immediately after the role play, you will receive hands-on feedback from us on what we perceived in the role play and how we rate it. However, we will only make a hiring decision for us once you have left our office. However, we don't need long and will usually let you know the next working day what we have decided and why, and whether we would like to make you a contract offer. If you need any further information or discussions, we will be happy to do so - tailored to your individual needs.
