Working Out Loud - Review base camp

There was also no need to introduce the people present. This is because the discussion in the group about what the five people had in common had already led to a much more intensive "getting to know each other" than the usual "My name is ..., I am ..., I work at ...".

Cordula had promised us an entertaining evening and kept her promise. She showed us how systematic networking can work and explained how the concept was launched and promoted at Bosch. Spiced up with anecdotes, reports of successes and failures, she prepared a delicious Monday evening feast for us.

But we actually did most of the work ourselves. We discussed in the four parallel groups, exchanged contacts, spun other people's ideas, deepened and questioned goals. And when the session ended at 9 p.m., many discussions were still ongoing, so we spent another hour networking and "working out loud" on the way out.

It was a successful evening with very open participants and a shared enjoyment of mutual support.
