Scrum can be bad. Scaled Scrum can be bad to the power of two. Yes, SAFe implementations can be bad, indeed. Bad to the power of two – because of the exponential complexity. But that is not the fault of SAFe. We all know Scrum implementations that are bad, but we do not blame Scrum for it. (Sidetrack, yes, some people blame Scrum and offer Kanban as a solution.

And if I use Scrum, what do I do if the team has multiple products? Scrum too. Then there are requirements for several products in the product backlog. Do all teams have to use the same framework when working together? No, the agile frameworks are all compatible with each other. One team can do Scrum, the other Kanban, and still they can work on the same product.

What is Scaled Agile?
