SmartWorking@wibas: We are creating a new world of work

Management consulting.
This change also requires a change in our working environment. "Some days the office is empty, then all our consultants are with the customer. On other days, the office is almost bursting at the seams: There is a Scrum training some consultants prepare a management workshop for a client, at the same time there is an applicant day and in the evening we organize a base camp."
On days like these, it becomes clear that it's time to transform our office into a smart workplace that meets the different needs of different teams (management, consulting, sales, marketing, purchasing, etc.) and incorporates all areas: our employees, working environments and tools.

What is our goal with SmartWorking@wibas?
We want to create a working environment that allows us to flexibly adapt the available space to our needs at any time. In doing so, our Corporate values also become a tangible experience for our customers. The new working environment should also take our potential growth into account. And last but not least, in true wibas style, we want to implement initial improvements quickly and effectively.

How do we tackle this?
We have a clear goal, work in interdisciplinary teams (made up of different functions in our organization) and use our agile method (Sprint Change) to plan and implement improvements.

The first steps:
We define our SmartWorking vision and derive goals and principles from it. In a detailed analysis, we formulate our requirements for SmartWorking@wibas, e.g. in terms of work situations, mobility, communication, IT and media technology. We then prioritize our requirements. We then put together an initial interdisciplinary team to implement the first improvements. This implementation takes place in small iterative steps. Each improvement goes through the design, implementation and evaluation phases. In this way, we ensure that the desired goals are implemented quickly and achieve the planned benefits.

How "smart" do you work and how do you implement improvements in your working environment?
